Moonlit Burgers Uptown

Decided to check this place out before a concert at PPG and it was PACKED. Waited in line for maybe 5 minutes, found a seat and my food was brought out within 10 minutes, which was awesome. I got the Moonlit Classic Single because I've never had a smashburger before. I'm not a huge burger person, but that thing was so good! The sauce was amazing. It even had a little heat to it. I can't wait to go back and try the chicken sandwich!! The employees were so friendly and never stopped moving, taking food to tables, picking up empty baskets, constantly cleaning. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!!

Our table really appreciated the ambiance that subtly encourages table conversation. People seem less zombified in here than most typical “burger joint”. Less screens = Increased happiness.

Excellent efficiency and speed of service. These people are serious about their table cleanliness as well. Wow. They will just instinctively know when you are approximately 37 seconds away from finishing your food and they are there to offer to collect your basket 😅

I had the Veggie Burger II. The table ordered nacho chips and some type of nacho/beer cheese/steak tip dip, shoestring fries, and loaded nachos.

Good food overall. For the price, I expected a cleaner and fuller presentation of a burger. Especially since I only ordered a single patty, I expected the topping to feel sufficient. Very fast food, sub par McDonald’s style of slapping topping across a burger. The taste of the burger was excellent for a plant based “meat“ Everyone enjoyed their meals.

Hands down best burger I’ve ever had. Would take a 4 hour drive every weekend just to eat here.

In town for a conference and had a hankering for a burger, but we ordered delivery to our hotel. EXCELLENT burger, one of the best I've ever had. I got the double. Fries were not great but that was due to delivery, we still ate everything! We will be back to Pittsburgh, it's a great city, and we will be getting Moonlit burgers every time. I wish I had gotten a Tshirt. Thank you for an excellent burger experience!

Went into the city today and tried Moonlit burgers for the first time and wowwww would I recommend this! They have a second location in Dormont but that one isn’t open on Mondays. Idk the last time I had a smash burger but this one was delicious. Their concept of ordering when you walk in, seat yourselves, made the service so efficient and burgers came out so fast. 🍔 the fries were shoestring fries which gave me Steak ‘n Shake vibes, so delicious

They have happy hour during the week also so we enjoyed a few drinks with our burgers 🍹
