Been I coming here for years - the good is always great! From the fantastic breakfasts to the dinner specials, it's consistently better than good. And the SOUP everyday is the BEST. Friendly and welcoming: GO THERE!! ♡♡♡
Great place for breakfast. Welcoming and attentive staff, great coffee, perfectly cooked bacon and nothing was overpriced. Easy to park in the side lot.Love coming for breakfast and drinks after a night shift of working. Staff is always friendly and the food it great.
.Good old school diner. Had a happy waitress (grilled cheese with bacon and tomato) and the bread they use has a good crust, yet nice and soft in the middle. They fry it up really nice with some butter.
Soup of the day was chicken tortilla with some kind of dumplings. Soup had a great taste, dumplings were eh.
Coffee was fresh and strong in a random mug which has a nice cham. And they gave me a full to go cup.
When we walked in we first thought it was a bar. It's super old school looking and a bit dumpy, like a dive bar for breakfast. Has a great charm, even had a cigarette machine, haven't seen one of those since I worked a bowling alley in high school.
I say 5 stars because it had that dirty diner deliciousness, something I can't find where I live now. I gave it a 4 because it's a bit dumpy for most people.
I'll be back next time I visit Pittsburgh.
This place is very quaint and comfortable. It is off the beaten path. It looks like a hole in the wall but the food speaks for itself. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you a looking for a late night meal. Also wanted to add that the food is made right in front of you.
