Papa Allen’s Pizza

One of the best places I ever have ate point blank from subs to gyros to pizza all very outstanding food & service I would highly recommend to anyone! Had a calazon today there 1/28/21 was the seafood one & once again one of the best I ever had in my life. The workers over there give great customer service toooo! Love this restaurant so muchhhh! Go here more than any other place in Pittsburgh!

I had the small Italian Calzone, it was huge and yummy. Like most places they use prepackaged flatware but it was so small it was hard to use. Regardless, I would go back.

Open late and staff was friendly (even wrote a message inside of my pizza box).

This place was open super late which was nice. The pizza was ready very quickly as well. The pizza itself is mediocre -- the Sicilian was not good. The flavor was bland and the crust was very hard and dry. The regular pizza was much better; good blend of cheese with a nice aged taste and a golden brown firm crust, though a bit too salty. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly during my pickup.

After talking with a Papa Allen's team member the other day, I placed my order directly with the restaurant rather than going through a "middle-man". My food arrived hot! What a concept! The order wasn't traveling all over the city as my last two orders from Papa Allen's were. I was almost ready to give up ordering from them until that short conversation. Folks, if you are trying to help our local businesses, check in with them to see which delivery method is more advantageous to their profit. I also have become hooked on the spinach and feta rolls-- well made...
