My order was a cheese pizza. I understand now why there is such a long wait! The first thing you will notice when you get pizza from this place is the color & texture of the crust. The crust reminded me of a pizza cooked in a wood fired oven with all of the dark almost smokey notes throughout. I also noticed that it has multiple types of cheeses on it with a sauce that is not overly sweet like the rest of the Pittsburgh pizza spots. So delicious and so hard to stop eating. One of the best pizzas I’ve had and I’m not just talking about in Pittsburgh.
Wonderful customer service. So friendly. And absolutely delicious food. Could not be more impressed and will be recommending to everyone I know in town.
Worth the wait! I’ve had pizza from all over this town and this is top notch. Fresh ingredients, great sauce, excellent cheese and the crust is the best I’ve had. This isn’t your typical Pittsburgh pizza and is definitely a must try.
YOM! Wow, that was some truly delicious pizza. I tried the artichoke and drunk meatball pies, and both were amazing. I'm glad we got two and could enjoy them side by side. We all agreed that they were light on toppings (could use more meatballs or artichokes, as the names suggest), but the flavors were excellent. Please keep the artichoke on your menu!
Hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve had in the city. The quality of the dough at this place isn’t something you find around these parts. It’s light & airy with a crunch. The cheese it creamy but sharp and finished with a perfect amount of fresh basil. No corners cut and just pizza done right. Pizza Lupo is our new go to pizza shop!
