Pizza Shack

It is not much to look at but the pizza is something special. The crust is thick but light. The sauce is very sweet. The cheese blend is great. The toppings are fresh. It is a very small place. You can only get pizza, no wings, no hoagies. For some reason they always have cherrykee red soda...they are open odd hours and sometimes will just be closed for days unexpectedly, But like I said before the pizza is something special. Cash only. We always look forward to having the shack.

I have LOVED their pizza since I was a kid, the not too thick but not too thick crust and sweet sauce makes a perfect pizza!! Always made fresh by the owner..who is WONDERFUL and ALWAYS makes sure his customers are satisfied!!

Love there sauce, they must put sugar in. It's a sweet tasting sauce.

Light and flaky crust and delicious sweet sauce there's nothing like it! This pizza is so good that I drive from the North Hills to the South Hills (which is unheard of if you're from Pittsburgh) just to pick this pizza up and take home! The ability to take it cold is a huge bonus so I can bake it at home and know that its warm and fresh.

love this pizza! the crust was unique (sort of flaky) and the sauce was sweet. i wish i had known about this place sooner, the best pizza i have ate in my 50 plus years. yes they are only open a few days a week with limited hours but it's worth the wait until they are open for the best tasting pizza around.
