The food is decent but it's so expensive for what you get. The portions are very small. The food is slightly better than good, not great, not mouth-watering. If the prices were lower, it would be worth it because it's a small little burger. The fries are just crinkle cut, and they are boring. Milkshakes are mid, small, and expensive.
Finally Shake Shack has arrived in Pittsburgh! 🍔 We visited last Friday night and we waited in line as if we were waiting to get into a nightclub. The location is smaller than I imagined with much less seating than they should have. But despite the table turnover and nonstop orders the restaurant was clean and service was friendly and efficient.
We tried the cheeseburger, fries, chicken bites, chocolate shakes and my son had a grilled cheese. Everything was fresh and hot. The cheeseburger tasted great and. I enjoyed the potato bun. The chicken bites were juicy and the breading was really tasty. It was worth the wait for Shake Shack to open. We'll definitely be back!
I first tried shake shack in Columbus, Ohio, and it became my favorite fast food place. When I heard that they were bringing it to Pittsburgh, I had to try it. It was good, not as fresh as I would have liked, especially for it not being that busy when I went. The fries were lukewarm, and the cheese sauce was pretty solidified. The burger was good, though. I tried the sunset lemonade and absolutely loved it. I will be back, just hoping the location gets better over time.
I got a double burger which wasn't bad with lettuce and onions on it. We also got a regular cheeseburger and nuggets what's crinkle cut fries. The first thing to do is take a bite of the nuggets and they were actually cold but they fix them. Second problem was that the burgers were actually dry. It was almost as if they had already cooked them ahead of time as it wasn't really hot. I had it the first time in Charlotte North carolina. It was actually really good and fresh and hot and juicy. It didn't remind me of that first time I had it where I was like wow this is a really good burger. They also gave me my third burger and it had cheese on it which wasn't supposed to but they fix that also. I may go back to try it but I would definitely tell him I want a fresh cooked
Pittsburgh finally has a shake shack! The burgers are still delicious, and the seats and environment in the store are okay. The only drawback is that during holidays, you may have to find a parking space. Hope to open app delivery service soon.
