(January 28, 2021, 5:25 pm)I was never really a Reuben person, but my buddies from my gym all told me I had to try this one. It was probably one of the top 3 overall sandwiches I've ever had, and easily the best Reuben.

(November 10, 2020, 6:10 am)Needed to find a new deli after a bad experience with my current (old) one. Smallman Street Deli was the next closest and let's face it, I love buying specialized grocery items in the strip. The interaction with the employees was great, they were very friendly and talked to you like they knew you their entire lives. I didn't plan on ordering any sandwiches (since I didn't know they had them) but I figured why not, new deli let's see what they got. I asked what he recommended, without hesitation he said the Reuben, perfect I love Reuben. I then grabbed a bag of sun chips and a diet Dr. Browns cream soda (wow) and enjoyed one of the best reubens I've ever had in the comfort of my own home. Top notch service, top notch food, top notch deli meats! Even the meats were wrapped better than I've ever seen. Smallman Street Deli gained a new customer in me for sure!

(October 19, 2020, 6:27 pm)Hands down the best Deli in the city of Pittsburgh! If you go enough times they will know you by name and it's always been a wonderful experience both personally and flavor wise
