Food was very good. It took a very long time for food to arrive though. Potato bread, although fresh and cute, was not impressive to the palate like some other creative breads would be.
This may sound bad, but I had very low expectations for a restaurant in Mellon Square. As I approached, I saw firewood stacked in the front window... that was a good sign. Turns out this place is a hidden gem in Pittsburgh. There are quite a few places in the city which have made names for themselves, and none of them match the quality we found here. The chef is incredible, everything we ate was delicious, and the presentation was very unique and tasteful. Dining area was really cool, not what you would expect from outside. Definitely, definitely go if you are reading this.
Came here for lunch, and I was very pleased with our visit. Staff was very friendly. Everyone at the table thought their food was delicious and filling. Very much liked their Old Fashion drink (the best I ever had, in my opinion). It is on the pricy side, just be aware, but they do have a good combo deal.
I was shocked by the affordability of their brunch! For such a nice restaurant, I excepted it to be much pricier! It was a pleasant surprise! I got a pasta dish that was REALLY delicious, which the rest of my family opted for breakfast meals. We were all really happy with the food and I would love to return on a non-Holiday to see what it's like!
Nice lunch stop, actually open at 2 unlike other local restaurants. The burger and fries were great.. Beer selection isn't huge but they have some really nice quality craft beers. Very clean atmosphere.. Modern and dark but overall a nice lunch here no regrets.
