Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Awesome place just wished they weren't 45 minutes away...

Excellent as always! (Also, I commented to another customer that they need a tree close to the store front at this location, to block the sun. It was blazing there as I stood and waited there with all the asphalt and reflecting off the glass and building...it was like an oven ????. )

Rita's always hits the spot. I've always only gone to get a gelato (because they're SO GOOD) but I recently tried one of their Reese treats and MAN it was awesome! The thick creamy custard is just heaven! They are always really nice about letting you try flavors too! Rita's is the bomb!

The place was poppin. Good stuff. Friendly service. Parking location leaves a lot to be desired, but it had no bearing on the quality. Just, if you go, be prepared for a rough time getting out of the lot.

Not bad overall. My family and I finally gave this place a try after having moved to the general area and enjoy what they offer. Imagine, we never knew of the concept of custard and Italian ice before. Delicious! The few times we've been there so far have been decent, especially the gals that have served us. Typically friendly and nice to my kids. The older lady (owner?) is hit and miss. On one occasion, with no other customers, she seemed irritated because my kid had changed his mind about what he wanted. Another occasion, she was also irritated from the get go even though on that occasion the order was given without delays. Yet another time, when I brought family from out of town, she was nice. It threw me throu a loop because once I saw she'd be attending, I was already expecting her to be irritated and impatient. Surprisingly, she was cordial. So o don't know about her people skills overall. For us, her employees have been nicer than her. The product they sell is awesome. 3 solid stars.
