Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza

Really good food. Our waitress was just wonderful. The manager was courteous and came to our table to make sure our food was good. I was very pleased with my visit and plan on recommending to all my friends, family and colleagues.

Anthony's has some quality well done pizza. Go in expecting some pieces to be blackened but understand that's part of the flavor they deliver. This has been intentionally done along with some engineering of their recipe to match. The crust has extra air to it and becomes delightfully crispy. The sauce has a bit of smoky flavor to it as well. All in all it creates a well packaged pizza with great character. Mushrooms go great with this style.

If you like your toast dark or your bacon crispy Anthony's is the kind of pizza for you.

I've had pizza all over the world... this is probably one of the best in the greater Pittsburgh area. But ... pizza is not the reason I think so highly of it. You have got to try the wings!! Seriously, any flavor you get is delicious! I had to come back to make sure it wasn't a fluke.... and I'm happy to say they make some @#$% good wings! Enjoy!

Went here on a Friday evening, and overall it was very good. Service could have been a bit better, but it was packed so I guess that is a bit expected. I highly recommend the eggplant marino, it was delicious. I get eggplant in plenty of forms (vegetarian options) and this was one of the best I ever had.

The first time experience was amazing! The waitress I had was amazing! She helped me out with ordering since I was having a hard time deciding what to get. She suggested the meatball and ricotta as well as being able to do that as a half and half pizza. So for the other half I got the spicy sausage for the other half. As I was waiting I got my refills and originally she offered a salad but politely I said I didn't want it but if there was breadsticks that would be great. Even though they didn't have it she brought out this delicious meatball in a bowl. When the pizza came out I love how good the meatball and ricotta and spicy sausage pizza tasted. I wouldn't have minded paying for the pizza but a customer not sure who paid for it which was unexpected. So both the waitress and the atmosphere of the customers were phenomenal. I would definitely eat here again and hopefully I have the same waitress.
