Bahama Breeze

Such a great little spot. Getting reservations ahead of time on weekends is a good idea. Atmospheric and calming restaurant that absolutely gives the sense of being on vacation in the carribean. Wonderful drinks and food with decent portioning and quality. Alcoholic beverages are stellar and the wait staff are just as excellent in quality.

We chose Bahama Breeze because the restaurant reminded us of the time we vacationed of the West Indies, specifically Antigua. The sampler appetizer platter was good but they were out of one of the items. They replaced it with cheese sticks but the original item sounded way better. The fish tacos were good. The first of three tacos was very fishy and I thought I was going to write a bad review...but it was just the one taco. Maybe just don't order fish tacos in Pittsburgh. The building structure and atmosphere was very island-y. They had all of the drinks we tried in Antigua which was cool.

Great place for Happy Hour outside. Live music on the deck area. Waiters are quick and friendly with your orders. Atmosphere doesn't make it seem like a chain restaurant. I highly recommend for Happy Hour

The Hibiscus Margarita is amazing!! my first time here. I ordered the jerk chicken dinner, so delicious. I come from Boston and this was a place I definitely will come back to. Great serving staff as well. Our waitress was super friendly and did not rush us out the door.

The service was super efficient and friendly, which was by far the best part of the atmosphere. It's a very pretty place inside if a little too on the nose for the theme, but it's simply cavernous, and it sounds like one too. Extremely loud, and not in a good way.

The food was exactly what was expected and hoped for though. Definitely recommend the plantain bowl and the Killer Bee cocktail.
