Great food and service a must if you like barbecue

My girlfriend and I just finished a brisket sandwich, pulled pork sandwich and brisket mac. We decided to drive up from Squirrel Hill since we were craving BBQ. When we got back to the house and opened up our Covid approved takeout I was seriously impressed by the way they packaged it. Meat was in a smaller plastic container for sandwiches, so no soggy buns! Everything was still warm and tasted great. I will definitely be swinging by again in the next week or two. As for price and portion, it was super reasonable and we have leftovers. Sandwiches were definitely not short on meat. 10/10 would recommend.

If you like the pulled pork, ribs, brisket, and mac and cheese from the food truck, you'll enjoy the new brick and mortar restaurant that offers a place to sit and eat, along with a variety of bottles and cans, and taps to go with the BBQ.

Yes, it is the same Oakmont Barbeque Company you know, but being as how it is now established as a Verona restaurant, they are known as "Off the Rails", a nod to the old railroad industry in Verona from yesteryear.

March 2020 will see the soft opening (March 7), then they will extent to Saturday and Sunday hours, with more days and hours added as business grows.
