“I'm only giving a three star because the food never fails here. Delicious. On the other hand, if I were to give my rating based on service and management, I would give a one star. I went on my birthday with my boyfriend and our kids and had the worse experience with our server. She wasn't checking on us. She was constantly standing at the bar on her phone. And when addressed to the manager, it took her 40 min to come back with (what she thought was reasonable I guess) 10% off my bill. I was totally unsatisfied. I will not go back to that location again.”

Those are two things that are primary drivers for me as a regular; good customer service and consistency, and Freedom Square Diner has both. “I have been to Jimmy K's maybe 3 times over the past eight months that I've lived in New Brighton and it is always times when I want to go to a decent little spot and have some pints of good beer and eat some good fried foods with friends and family . They also have a lot of other things on the menu but I think I stop short at the sandwiches.I've had a Reuben sandwich in there and a regular bacon and blue cheese burger that was absolutely delicious. The fries had some kind of a spice mix on it which I don't care for on fries and really good hand cut fries are very accessible in this town anyways, Personal preference. I believe they also have salads and some other entree items. They have several TVs and a nice little pool room, dartboard, jukebox, kind of a cool little area off to the side. friendly staff, courteous service, great food and atmosphere. I'll definitely go back again when that occasion should arise. I wonder when will it will be?”

“The food is good and they have reasonable prices. I haven't been there in a while and when I pulled up, it looked to me as if they closed. I almost drove away, until I saw the fish fry sign out front and knew that had to be recent for Lent. After overhearing someone else comment among themselves this same thing, I explained this to the manager, and she happily said no they are open (I was already sitting down eating). I was trying to make them aware, their store front/windows needed something to let people know they are indeed in business, but couldn't get my point across. So yes they are open”

“It was decent. Value is good. We got the platter which gives you 1/2 lb of all the meats among other things. The fries have the meat seasoning rub on them and are banging. The house made bacon and the pulled pork are a win. The turkey and brisket, although flavorful, were dry. Disappointing because I love brisket. Good beer selection. Atmosphere is easy going and casual. Would have loved to try the pastrami, but they were out. All things considered, I WOULD go back.”

“Never had a bad experience here. Their specialty rolls rival some of the best rolls I've had throughout the country. The staff is friendly, the price is right, and the atmosphere stands out in this county in Pennsylvania. If i had one knock on this place, it's that they don't have a sake selection. Only their house sake. But they do have a great selection of Japanese beer and a selection of cocktails. The Mango Lover roll is my favorite. You can't go wrong with anything that has tuna or salmon in the description. A must visit for any sushi lover! Also check out their hibachi! The entertainment alone is worth it. Bring a crowd and enjoy the atmosphere when you're not in a super hurry. Just remember they don't really season the steaks because you're supposed to dip the pieces in the sauces provided. A great addition to the Beaver Valley Mall!”

“We are very lucky to have this gem here. I can't belive they are inside the mall. The quality surpasses most pizza places with they're own establishment in the area. Easy to place an order over the phone and pick it up or get slices to eat there, if you enjoy good pizza, I think it's worth a try. The price is definetly right. They even were able to split our bill in half so that my girl and I could use on our own payment methods and didn't charge us extra. Very friendly people here! Here's a menu!”
