Bear Creek Mountain Resort

Excited to take my son skiing this season! The hotel and grounds are very well taken care of. Praying for the ski gods to afford enough cold days for some great skiing

We have been to this facility many times for different events from bands to festivals to just spending a night to hang out in the pools. Could use a little bit more variety in the upstairs pub for food but between the heated outdoor pool, the indoor pool, and the various hot tubs, very family friendly. The staff also seems to go above and beyond to accommodate.

For those looking to get married, I would absolutely recommend Bear Creek Mountain Resort but I would NOT recommend Aimee Whitenight. My husband and I struggled to communicate with Aimee as it would take 2-3 emails to finally get a reply. When we had our food tasting, we felt like Aimee didn’t care that we were there as she just “checked in” at the beginning and then left for the day. And when we confirmed our food options, Aimee forgot to mark it down and would “reconfirm” multiple times. This would be a recurring theme for our wedding: as Aimee left half way through our wedding and forgot to tell the staff about several important things. The main one was that she failed to inform the staff that I have a SEVERE shellfish allergy. I asked to the wedding to be shellfish-free which Aimee "confirmed." During our cocktail hour, a server came up to me regarding our appetizers and informed us that ALL of them were in contact with shellfish. I wasn't able to eat anything which was extremely disappointing!
Mainly due to the lack of communication, we felt that we needed additional wedding coordinators to help with even just the basics. Again, Bear Creek was absolutely gorgeous, and the rest of the staff on location are incredible! We tried to give Aimee Whitenight a chance but we DO NOT recommend her at all!

Stayed here for 1 night for our mini honeymoon. Beautiful location. It's off-season, so minimal other guests. The walls are thin, so you'll hear other guests as if they are in the room. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but it served its purpose. We enjoyed having the pool and hottub to ourselves in the evening. Doubt that happens during peak season. The location and view is by far the best part of this hotel.

Listen if you haven't been, it a must! A huge variety of things to do and see. Perfect for families, but also for couple who want a night or few out of town. They have a great restaurant 😋. The resort itself is beautiful!!

Did I mention its hidden. The last 15 mins there you feel like your going through wrong way... And I like that.

Can't wait to be back for when the ski lifts open up.
