How lucky we were to find this charming spot for lunch! Atmosphere was clean and fun, service was easy and efficient. Our large group tried just about everything on the menu and found it all fresh and delicious. Even the "picky burger judge" in our crowd loved it, as did the salad eater, the milkshake expert, and the "king of fries."
Great burger, I had the Jersey Burger, but major major red flag on the unsanitary condition on the day I was there last week PLUS the hostess' actions: I was seated about ten minutes after ordering, and noticed ants on the table. Asked to move to another table which worked out fine. Next group that came in, the hostess told them they could sit anywhere, and so don't you know, they pick the same table that I had moved from, which the hostess just got finished telling me that they had an ant problem. Why would you do that? If customers ask you were can we sit, don't say, "Oh anywhere is fine." When its not. Five star burger, one star sanitary practices.
Cute little place. Staff is very nice. Burgers were great for my family. My oldest got the chicken and waffles, which we had to send back unfortunately. The waffles tasted good, but the fried chicken was chewy. My advice would be don’t use dark meat to make the fried chicken. The recipe needs some tweaking. They were more than accommodating though when we sent it back, and my son got the fried Mac n Cheese balls. Over the top loved them! Thanks overall for a good experience we will be back!
Their menu is quite simple which is why I was surprised to experience the best burger I have had this year. I put lots of road miles in and believe me don't take this assessment lightly when I rate it the 'best'. They have several variations of the same hand packed burger mixed with brisket and each creation comes on a fresh roll. I ordered the Lou Lou but I have no doubt that the others would hit the spot too. New Hope you have a winner!
