My father and his lady-friend reside in a dementia care unit in Newtown. They love to go out to eat but my Dad's dementia can be difficult to deal with as he gets frustrated and angry very, very quickly. We can be a large party which doesn't help. For his birthday Saturday we were a party of 10. We had requested the semi-private room and were able to give some advance warning regarding my dad.
Harvest was SO accommodating, from having servings of his preferred chardonnay at room temperature instead of the standard chilled white wine, to letting Dad order then very discreetly verifying that he should be served what he requested.
Sam, our server was absolutely wonderful, enduring our requests to turn on the fire place in July and then working in that heat, to continuing the conversation as Dad tried to be social by asking about her dating life.
THANK YOU Sam! You made our fathers 84th Birthday celebration a HUGE success and a wonderful experience for all of us, we are very, very grateful!

It's a nice restaurant, with a seasonal menu. The staff have been consistently wonderful. Many of the options are wonderful, but some veer too far into healthy and too far from delicious, leading to a bit of a hit-or-miss experience. Probably best for locals, who can sample their way through the menu to find what works for them. Still, it has a spot on our rotation.

This place is amazing. The quality of the food is very good. The atmosphere is great. Their menu selection is also very good. The beer and wine menu again very good. Also if vegan, gluten free, dairy free, allergy free food is an issue with you, then this is the place. They take care of this with plenty of healthy options as well as asking if you have food allergies to accommodate for your needs. The service is excellent. Definitely one of my favorite places in the area.

First time at this Harvest and WOW so impressed. Alicia should get 10 stars. In all the years I worked in the restaurant business I have never seen anyone know the menu and be so excited to explain it. In better words my boyfriend said he felt like we were on a date with her she was so personal. The food was also excellent so that just made it even better. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Food was very good and prices pretty reasonable. A nice atmosphere, lively. My only criticisms would be about the service. And not that it was unfriendly. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Just really should clear empty dishes off the table before you bring the next ones out. Pet peeve of mine to have to shuffle things around to make room for more food. Also, they forgot my appetizer, it came out after my entree, so I packed it to go home. Should have just skipped it at that point. Overall though, I would like to go back!
