The Narrows

Great first impression and experience on only the 4th day open. Staff is super friendly, owner family are very present and not just greeting but actively listening to patrons' comments. Decor is a nice mix of tradition and contemporary, good use of mirrors reflecting light, dark I beams a bit of a nod to Bethlehem Steel. Menu has pub fare to mains, salads, soups, raw bar. Modern twists on traditional fare, but not pretentious.

Stumbled upon this gem while driving hungry on unknown back roads. It has been open two days only. We sat at the bar in the beautifully designed space.

Staff were friendly and attentive, the food we ordered was good and Tamara the owner was warm and welcoming, working steadily, guiding her staff without seeming stressed. I couldn’t quite tell, but it appears to be beautifully situated just overlooking the Delaware River. A great find in an out of the way spot! Worth checking out.

Excited about it opening soon.
