“Food is delicious and plated really beautifully. Service is very friendly and decor is impeccable. From the moment you come in and sit in comfortable plush chairs you're in for a culinary delight. We enjoyed all the dishes we got- from potato waffles with salmon, guacamole and poached egg to sweet cheese with mango or blueberries. My son loved chocolate crepes.”

“I have tried this new neighborhood restaurant now on three separate occasions and have found the meals to be wonderful experiences. I ordered small portions and soups and appetizers on all three occasions in order to sample a wide range of foods in a relatively small period of time, what a delight! I grew up in NYC and had the gift of eating in Manhattan’s Chinatown on a regular basis and this food at Bamboo Kitchen is comparable. Their dumplings in particular, all of the varieties, are a joy: light with a wafer thin dough and chock full of veggies and/or meats, they leave you craving for more. Authentic dipping sauce also. This place also includes Thai dishes, but I haven’t tried any of them yet. But what I have had, from a spiced up Mu Shoo Pork dish, to several Szechuan-styled chicken, meat or tofu dishes, I can recommend that you try this new gem of a place.”

“Dean and his team finally got this space open in the Pheasant Valley shopping plaza next to Holland Eye. I’ve been to lunch twice and I’m looking forward to breakfast. We’ve enjoyed the Greek inspired part of the menu as well as the standards. His daily soups have been stellar. His prices are very reasonable, just bring cash. He has an ATM on site if you forget.”

“First the food is outstanding, if a little different than you get at the mass produced Chinese places. The flavors are a bit subtler and very tasty. This is the first Chinese restaurant that i went to that cooked every meal or order. The food was amazingly fresh, ample and piping hot. The vegetables were actually crispy. In fact, when the owner saw i hadn't eaten the eggplant that was mixed in with my meal, she told me just tell them next time and they won't put any in, because every meal is cooked to order. But there is also a downside. Initially i was thinking of a considerably lower rating because expectations are everything but after thinking about it, they do deserve the four stars. The downside? The service is slow as compared to most Chinese places and since every meal is cook to order, they come out as they are ready. So there may be a couple of minutes (at most) between meals coming out of the kitchen. Since everybody is doing double duty the waitress isn't always readily available. If you know this going in, it will be a great experience. Also, i noted most of their business seems to be takeout, which would give you the good points and remove the downside. We no doubt return.”

“I have been getting Italian takeout from Aldo’s for the past fifteen years. Consistently, Aldo’s presents delicious and balanced meals that have kept me coming back again and again. My favorite is the Veal Parmigiana, but frankly, I have never had an inferior meal. Order with gusto. Enjoy today and tomorrow. There is usually enough for two!”
