“Excellent place to go. The people are nice, they make you feel welcome. And to top that off they have great food there. Whenever we're in that area I'm passing through we will always stop to get a great meal and a few laughs with wonderful patrons that go there also. The owner Allen as a really cool guy Angie's an excellent bartender and the cook can cook some mean food excellent food. So if you ever passing through stop at Alan's Roadhouse to get a wonderful dinner and some good conversation!”

“This is a good place to stop if you are traveling in the area. The food is good and relatively inexpensive. I had the 4 oz cod fish sandwich and my mother had the hamburger patty melt and both sandwiches came out piping hot and were very good. We would not recommend the fresh cut fries but the onion rings are definitely worth ordering. the waitress was very nice but was responsible for the entire restaurant which made the checkout in the service a little bit on the slow side.”
