Hickory Run Tavern

Nice place. Great live music. Hard to find that these days! Good food & service. Would definitely go back. Band let me sit in for a song.

I camp at Hickory Run State Park frequently. This is a great place to stop in for a bite and a drink. The menu/beer selection is a bit limited, but the food is tasty and the staff are great—so friendly, and they work hard to provide quick, competent service. Lots of friendly locals hang out here and campers are welcome. I love it for when I want a cold beer and a burger instead of cooking at camp, or after a long day of hiking.

First time there. Had chicken cheese steak buffalo and my wife had a cheeseburger with L,T and raw onion.
Both where very good and the fries were the best we've had in years.
Would definitely go back.

This is a great local bar with very reasonable prices. It's reminiscent of some of the mountain bars I've been to in Killington, VT, in ambience, very laid back, good prices, and fabulous food. It isn't fancy by any means but it is a good time, especially with love bands on the weekend. It's a favorite casual date spot for my husband and I.
