“This is an incredibly beautiful inn to see. The excellent food and service add to this experience as well. This is an upscale place but it is also has reasonable prices. You can BYOB for a small fee if you want. Again, white tablecloths, impeccable wait staff, and a diverse menu make for a very special night. It's fun to watch the menu change with the seasons.”

P.J. Whelihan's Pub + Restaurant [West Chester]

Address: 1347 Wilmington Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, USA

Restaurant

“Had amazing drinks...yes a DD was there!!! I loved the salad I ordered. It was fresh, crisp, exactly as stated in the menu and the best dressing I have had in a long time. Spent about 4 hours just talking, eating and drinking with someone I hadn't seen in 40 years and the wait staff changed while we were there and both of them heard the story of why we were there for so long and told us to take our time. Now, I know they usually try to turn over tables quickly because they survive on tips not a paycheck that is only $2.38 an hour so we made sure both servers were tipped over and above what they would have made if we hadn't sat in their station so long. ALWAYS remember that the person working your table has to make enough money for their own family to live on. Always, Always, Always remember; could you take care of your family on $2.38 an hour???? No you can't, so make sure you take care of your server!!!! I always start at 25%....and based on the service I receive, then it increases from there....never tip less than 20% even if it is not the best service you have had. That server may be tired from a newborn that doesn't sleep, maybe they are battling an illness or cancer, maybe they just had a death in the family and the list goes on. Put yourself in their shoes before you judge them as a bad server...you never know but I am certain you have been through something that caused your manners or demeanor to change!!!!”

Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

“nice change from the "typical" fast food stop. Food tastes consistently fresh, they have nice house made sauces for your burger/fries. What keeps my son consistently begging to go back are the ice cream sundaes/concretes.”
