Yummy food and our waitress was super friendly. Pub Nachos with pork weren’t this gigantic pile of chips that you couldn’t finish; it was a perfect app for two people. Chorizo tacos were stuffed with goods. And the BLT salad was delicious. All of the portions were perfect; not too big where you felt gross and not too small that you leave hungry.
The beer selection is usually top notch. Food specials vary by location, haven't tried them all by the ones we've had have been quite tasty. This location has plenty of bar seats and the tables go back a lot farther then it seems from the outside. Overall, I totally recommend this or any other Two Stones location.
Love the food- interesting combos,!and good service. Absolutely HATE the smell of the bleach they use to clean kitchens/tables... smells like a mix between pool and gym locker... yuck. Please find something better to clean with!
I keep trying to get onboard with Two Stones Pub in Kennett Square, but for all the many times we pop in, I never think about this place unless someone else mentions it. If you're a micro-brew fan, and you don't have much interest in the food menu, this might be your spot.
The food: mediocre at best. I see what they're trying to do with remakes of somewhat familiar classic pub eats, but it keeps coming up a "swing and a miss." For example: the tacos. Why fancy up perfection with flavors that basically turn it into something that's more just a taco by name, no longer flavor. The food is weirdly overpriced, as well.
Service is spotty at best. The bartender and servers used to be much more knowledgeable about the food and brews. During our most recent visit we couldn't get service without begging for it. We didn't stay after our first beer. It just felt like too much work.
If you enjoy a micro brew, give it a shot. Maybe it's your style!
We came on a Sunday over Labor Day weekend, sadly it wasn't crowded or good for partying. But, seemed like a very cozy and fun place. People were older and friendly, drinking and joking and having a good time :)
I got the burger and pickle chips, was verryy delicious, good portion, and not too expensive. Waitress was very sweet. Took some cute pictures in and outside the bar
