Hearth Kitchen Kennett Square

Giving 3 stars because you can tell the pastas are homemade. Way to much grated cheese for my liking. I have had their pizzas before and really liked it. I am a big fan of coal oven pizza and they make them well.

The ambiance is great for dinner with friends, though not recommended if you are looking for a quiet place. Hardly any vegetarian options. We ordered the gnocchi and it was bland and oily. Pizza was good. Cocktails were ok.

Excellent food and service. It was hard to choose what to order because all the menu items are such interesting and thoughtful flavor combinations, but I finally decided on the scampi, my fiance got the bolognese, and my future mother in law got the pear and prosciutto pizza. All delicious.

I came here with a group of friends for happy hour. The atmosphere was great, the bartenders were friendly and attentive, and the food/drinks were good. However, when the time came to pay, I believed there was a mistake to my bill. I thought I was over charged due to happy hour promotions. I did not make a big deal about it but instead just added a tip I believed would equal out, which would be over 20% of my bill. Moments after giving the bartender my bill, I over heard him tell a co-worker to look at the tip I left in front of everyone. They blatantly laughed and overall were unprofessional. Apparently, he thought he deserved more. After witnessing this, I called over the bartender to assure that I was correct about my bill. He politely explained that I was wrong, however, they were unapologetic about their rudeness even after I brought it to their attention. Overall, the restaurant is good. However, they can do a better job at training employees on how to always conduct themselves in a professional manner.

If your looking for a Great Meal in Kennett Square. Dont wait any longer head out to Hearth. Great food, service and backed up by some interesting cocktails. Try it you will not regret it.
