Good local place for a few beers. And that's about it. Very limited menu and about a dozen beers. Place is off of the main road and has a tiny sign that IS easy to miss. Recommend other local brewing companies in the area for a larger selection, bigger menu and more open space.
The noise level was pretty intense. When considering this rating, please bear in mind that there was a very large group, and I suspect that may have affected the quality of the food and service. The. Beer Mac 'n cheese with pulled pork was delicious, very creamy cheese sauce. The burger had the same cheese sauce. The porter cooked short rib quesadilla was also nice. The calamari was a bit too greasy, but the apple-radish slaw was very refreshing. The nachos were okay; we topped them with chili, but we think the pulled pork would have been better. Sadly, because of the large previously mentioned party, most of our food was lukewarm and the appetizers came out with the mains. Service was not as attentive, as it should have been. It's possible we should have ordered the pulled pork sandwich or one of the flatbreads.
NOTE: 02/12/2019 - The owner responded to this review, acknowledging the issues. We appreciate that, and will certainly give Kennett Brewing Company a second chance.
The food was very delicious and it was a nice surprise to have live music playing when entering the venue. Beers were solid and good atmosphere with a blend of tables, but plenty of bar counter space. Would highly recommend to check out this local spot if in the Kenney area.
Great beer! Had a tasting and liked them all. Food, on the other hand was a bit iffy. The nachos were too salty and I love salt. It might have been the pulled pork that was on top. It was like eating straight salt. They sure are generous with the toppings though. I think it may have just been an off night because they had everything else right in terms of flavor, combination of ingredients and crunch. Very crowded. Service was great.
Kennett Brewing Company was kind enough to host the Welcome Event the night before our wedding in Glen Mills, PA and they were AMAZING. The band was wonderful, and the service was super fast even with the number of people who ended up stopping by! We are still having our guests tell us how awesome the beer and atmosphere was, and how they wish they had more time in Kennett Square to go back there and explore more of the menu.
Having been there for tastings and dinner, I can attest that the beer is fantastic, the food even better, the staff is helpful and fast, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Don't miss this spot in Kennett Square!
