I have been coming here for years, since they opened and even before, when it was the Book End Cafe. Parking has become a problem. Also, recently, I noticed that they are skimping on their food. Their prices are a little on the high end, which I didn't mind paying because the portions were nice. The last couple times there I had much less chicken salad on my sandwich. Then, hardly any corned beef on my creamed chipped beef. It was like I was eating toast with sauce on it. Oh well, I guess that's what happens when an owner buys a second restaurant and spends most of their time there. It's a shame though

I enjoyed this small local eatery. Went Sunday afternoon when it was crowded. I had attempted several weeks ago, but couldn't even find a parking spot. This trip my timing was better, but there still was a line. Food was good. I had the Monte Cristo. I would have liked raspberry preserves as it is usually served, but syrup was available. The gentleman sitting next to me, a regular customer, had eggs to order and fresh fruit cup. Both looked good. He said he always has good food here. Staff very friendly and accommodating. If I'm in the area, and the timing is right, I will stop in again. They look like the have a good Sunday afternoon following.

Can’t say how much I love this hidden gem. The people are welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is intimate and perfect. Limited seating but moves quickly. The food!!!! TO DIE FOR. Absolutely perfect. So much food for your money. I almost didn’t want to leave a review and give away my hidden gem. But I had to share how amazing they were. Thanks Chris. Can’t wait to come back.
