My Favorite Muffin

I like this place. I have been coming here for 16 Years. Recently they changed ownership, but you can't tell, because everything has stayed pretty much the same. Same delicious, fresh bagels and muffins and sandwiches. Same casual, cozy atmosphere The only thing that has changed over the years is that people have found out about it and it is much busier now. Sometimes you have to wait in line a while to order. They do run out of muffins. I wish they would make more. Also the new guy they hired made several mistakes when we were there.

The muffins were very good, but the bagels were subpar. The young man taking our order had to ask multiple times what we wanted, and wasn't very friendly. The owner walked by and asked us if we were being helped. She seemed very nice and attentive.

Bagels are just meh more like rolls with holes in them. The muffins are the real stars. Also what bagel/breakfast place is closed on a Sunday?!

While the selection of muffins was impressive, they tasted like they came out of a box or some sort of corporate kitchen. Not that it was the restaurant's fault, but there was an old man sitting in the corner scowling at my family the whole time i was there... I got the feeling he was a regular. In any case, it is worth stopping by, but there are equally good options out there.

Best bagels in Chester County and beyond. Excellent by themselves or as a sandwich. The staff is friendly and service oriented.
