“We came back to give it a second try since our first visit was disappointing on the service side but the tasty food draw me back to see if service was better, besides all the restaurants nearby were closed due to the snow storm. Anyway, the service has gotten better. We were greeted by an English speaking gentleman who promptly sat us. The waitress/ manager was most helpful. She was very attentive to our needs and actually remembered us from our last visit, which was over a month ago. The dry pepper chicken wings were screaming good with a spicy kick. Dandan noodle was also a good dish if you like it hot and spicy. My girls can't handle spicy food so they got the Shanghai steam pork buns, pan fried dumplings, scallion pancakes and veggie fried rice. All were good and best of all no food allergies, which my girls are prone to at other Chinese restaurants. It's great to have an authentic Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood. The food is top notch and is great change from the typical. We'll have to come back and try some of their other dishes. Keep up with the consistent good service and the food will do the rest!”

“TLDR: get the vegan chicken with broccoli and come during their lunch special. This place probably deserves 3 stars, but I’m giving an extra star because it’s one of the few places in the area that serves a variety of vegan options. With that said, some of the options are practically inedible. Don’t get me wrong. I love the vegan chicken with broccoli. I love the vegan ham with mixed vegetables. I eat there regularly because the food is reasonably priced and I honestly love these 2 dishes—dream about them. However, I’ve ordered I think it was the sweet and sour vegan chicken and we had to throw that out it was so bad. I’ve had several soggy spring rolls there. I saw a one star review about child labor. In my experience, it’s more like: the owner’s 12 year old or so son looks up from his homework and takes pity on you since you’ve been waiting for someone to bring the check. The service isn’t the most attentive but I like that they let you stay as long as you want and the staff is very nice. Also the AC isn’t great.”

“Found Freddy's 2 summers ago after little league baseball games. Love em. If you're from the Midwest, the closest comparison is Steak n Shake. Good burgers, fries, and ice cream/custard for an affordable price. Never been disappointed. Order at the counter and seat yourself. Clean your own dishes and no tipping necessary. Order your ice cream with your meal and ask em to hold it. Grab it on the way out the door. Love this place for it's simplicity. Just good burger food.”

“One of those mid-tier restaurants that has all the cool stuff on the walls. Makes you glad that you don't have to dust the place every night. the burgers here are pretty good. Their side orders and appetizers are also pretty good. You can get yourself decent milkshakes at this location as well. They do have a bar and plenty of beer specials with happy hour specials as well. this location is easy to notice from traffic and it is easy to get into the parking lot.”

“Came in around 9:45pm. Got the scallops with pasta tomato and spinach in a "creamy garlic sauce" which was burnt and left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth for hours. My dining partners got the personal deep dish pizzas and said they were good. Table was sticky. Service was not bad. .”

“This is a fantastic place. Was working in the area for 3 days, ate breakfast the first day, then came back the next day for breakfast and then came back for dinner the 3rd day. Breakfast is good ole diner breakfast. Eggs bacon great hashbrowns and toast. Dinner had the gyro. Very good. Lots of food. Service was very good all 3 times as well. Being open 24 hours, I'd bet its the spot to have a 3am bite to eat after a night of a couple beers. Enjoy.”
