This is a place mainly for takeout/delivery with counter service and a few tables. We ordered the popular cheese steak (ribeye) sandwiches with fried onion. The size of the sandwich is substantial, almost 12 inches and there's a good amount of meat and cheese. Overall, the taste was good but the beef was a little over cooked on the dry side. For the price of $15, it's pretty good value for a big sandwich and decent service.

Incredible cheesesteak, top 3 in Chester County in my opinion (along with Joey's and Lorenzo's).
Roll from La Baguette Magique helps set it over the top.
Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak is incredible, must try if you're a fan.
Fries are great as well, wings leave something to be desired and aren't worth the price.

Incredible establishment to have in West Chester.

This place absolutely lives up to the hype. The cheesesteak is one of the best I have ever had, right up there with John’s. The roll is maybe the best roll I’ve ever had on any sandwich ever.

The fries are good but this variety of potato is pretty dry inside and I didn’t love them as much as I should have given the excellent preparation.

The best cheese steak I've ever had. I'm not in any way a connoisseur, but everything was just perfect for me -- crispy delicious bread, PLENTY of soft flavorful meat, a touch of fried onions. The portions are HUGE. A half would've been plenty for me, I got stuffed up to my eyeballs. Worth it! Can't wait to try the chicken and pizza ones too.
    Fries were also fantastic. 10/10
Convenient location with parking, seating space, great atmosphere.
Edit: we went back on a Saturday, right before they sold out everything at 5 - we wanted to try buffalo chicken but that was sold out so we got the pizza steak. OMG that was even better than the regular Cheesesteak.

Made the 40 minute trek from Bala Cynwd to West Chester to try the new Steak place (Steaks West Chester.) Got there at 11:30 and it was full, but we got seats and placed orders almost immediately. THEN it was a 40 minute wait as the early birds and phone-ins were handled. Steak was delicious. Roll was VERY crusty, chewy and fresh, but I'd have preferred it scooped as JRP does, because it was pretty dense and competed with the beef (which was coarsely chopped and lightly seasoned.) No gristle rib eye. Cooper Sharp blended well. Onions were translucent and still crunchy with a hint of bite. A top notch cheesesteak, but not sure they unseat JRP or Angelo's. Kennebec fries were hot and perfectly salted, but as is the nature of these spuds, low in moisture. Crispy, tender inside and not greasy, but I was happy for the malt vinegar to give a touch of moisture. Likewise, the steak was absent any grease, but would have been dry without cheese. Should travel well though, especially with the sturdy roll (more French than Italian style.) Worth the wait? Yeah, it's among the better offerings in the region, and I'd wager better than anything out in the Western burbs.
