Malgudi Cafe

I drove an hour, late on Saturday 7/1/23 from Bear Delaware and it was well worth it for me! Had Masala dose with pudi, Vade with sambar & chutney, Pineapple kesari bhaat and Mango lassi - all were very good. One of a kind vegetarian restaurant in this area and it has been done well. The owners were nice and courteous, the ambience was excellent.
It's only a month old and I wish Malgudi lot of success. Encourage the management to hold on to their food values - it is special. Will be back soon 🙂.

Our first visit to the place and happy to say that the food was fantastic. All of the items had an authentic taste and were freshly made. Highlight was the Chow Chow Bath and the Cheese Dosa with syrup and banana/coconut/jaggery pudding as a side. The poori could have been better! They give you a choice of how strong one would want the filter coffee to be and it's a good thing.

Overall, we were very content with the taste, presentation and service. One of the owners, was quite active in taking orders, serving and made us feel good without any upsell. We are going to be repeat customers for sure!!

Malgudi cafe took me back to the delicious, mouth-watering cuisine of Namma Bengaluru. The restaurant has great ambiance and lovely music. We had Masala Dose, Vada and Onion Dose and Filter Coffee. Everything was excellent, highly recommended!

Since my first review of the restaurant above. Upon my recent visit, the quality and quantity of the food has gone downhill, price remains the same. Here’s the advice for management - please increase the food quantity while maintaining authentic quality, if not consider reducing prices. Also, during busy hours consider adding more staff to attend to tables. There are so many great alternatives in the Exton, however we root for this restaurant to succeed, being the first of its kind to serve Karnataka cuisine.

Awesome ambience, soothing music, irresistible authentic Bangalore style veg delicacies served here for sure is makes it a unique nostalgic experience. Thanks team Malgudi (ಮಾಲ್ಗುಡಿ) for bringing pinch of both Malleshwaram and Basavanagudi closer to us! It was truly mouth watering delightful experience! Wish you all the very success!

Stopped today on way back to home , beautiful ambience, authentic South Indian feel with great service. The Vada tasted so good more reviews to come !! Sambar and chutney was perfectly done !! Definitely stop by to get South Indian flavor and you will see passionate people around and will enjoy the food !!
