“Hidden gem. This shop should be on the main street or in a larger town. For Clearfield, the prices are a little over what they should be, but that's expected with the minimum wage increase. I had the opportunity to try the turkey club and the turkey sub. Both were great and tasty. The bread, alone, is worth the visit and I made sure the baker knew that. It takes several minutes to prep and deliver the order to your table. But if you prefer take out, that is available, too! There are about 30 meals to choose from. I'm sure you'll be happy with any of them. Other items I didn't try because I didn't leave any room include the multitude of cookies, pies and cupcakes. Packaged and ready to go, they are likely to make anyone's day. Again, a hidden gem just outside of town. I see these folks going places.”

“For 5 of us it was just under 70. Yes some might be like wow that's alot but mind you that was 5 meals with a side each a soda each and 4 outta 5 of us had dessert. Which half was brought home! You should not leave this place still hungry. Food was great and service was fast! Real fresh fries both straight and curly! When we walked in we where a little unsure, but I think it was like a local place not a tourist spot. So glad we found it!”

“I have not eaten at a Long John Silvers restaurant in a long time. The food is now greatly improved over my last experience. I chose an item called a "Salmon Bowl" It consisted of a bed of moist flavorful rice with a generous slab of Salmon that tasted broiled, but may have been baked. The bowl was topped with shredded purple cabbage, with a modest drizzle of a sweet chili sauce. It was fresh, it was tasty, and I enjoyed it a lot. My wife had a friend shrimp dinner, the shrimp were batter dipped and deep fried. They were moist and hot with not a hint of the stale oil taste noticed in the bad old days. The only thing that was the same is that I still don't like hushpuppies. This outlet is doing it right. Keep up the good work.”

“We like to go Tuesday evening for the kids night buffet. I believe its 2 children eat free with one paying adult. The kiddos enjoy the craft afterwards. It has been hit and miss with the buffet. It starts at 5:30 and we have waited as long as 20 minutes for food to be put out. Other nights there has been no issues.”

“Very friendly staff, very helpful. The Hatachi was very good and included in price. Never had it before, the young man cooking was very friendly and helpful. Not to much of a variety, but enough. Small desert bar, very small salad bar, not much American food. Very filling and good. Place was very clean, tables and chairs or booths very nice, carpet had worn spots. Worth trying for the price!”

“What a gem! If I had just gone based on the website I probably wouldn't have tried going, it could use a bit of an update. But we needed something for our 23 month-old to do after a long car ride. So happy we went! We might even go back before we head out again. Food was a decent price, and our less-than-2 year old was free to play! “Found this place by accident because we didn't want to wait hours for food at Denny's Beer Barrel. I was skeptical at first when the hostess had to take us through the Red Roof Inn lobby to get to our table but I was pleasantly surprised. Our waitress was very attentive and got our orders out very quick. They are able to handle large groups with no problem. There was a group of about 13 baseball players and they were able to put several tables together for them to all sit together. They were still able to give us the attention we needed. They had a very nice looking stage with cool lighting that would make a great venue for smaller bands. We got the pretzel bites appetizer and they were so good. They came with the best cheese side we've ever had. It had just the right amount of spice. I got a meatball hoagie which was amazing. Cooked perfect with sauce that would have been great for spaghetti. My fiance got wings that she loved. The menu was quite impressive with a good mix of sandwiches, seafood, chicken, ribs, and steaks. Price was reasonable but, be warned, there is a 2% credit card fee. I was kinda upset because we didn't notice any signs and the waitress didn't mention it when she took our card, but looking at pics, apparently we both missed it at the bottom of the menu. Oh well, we will still return next time we are in the area.”

Their indoor Playland is wonderful for kids and adults can sit and just enjoy themselves. The food is always enjoyable. The employees are always wonderful. “Fantastic. Exactly what a what a motel should be. Very clean, and easy check in and out. The owners were incredibly nice. We had a nice size fridge and a microwave. TV worked well. Breakfast was nothing fancy, but perfectly fine. Compared to a number of hotels we've stayed in recently that were significantly more expensive, this one was clearly managed significantly better and way cleaner. Very satisfied, would definitely return.”
