Caballo Dorado (The Golden Horse)

After moving from South Florida, I would say that the Carne Asada tacos are the most authentic that I have found in the area! You always know the tacos are going to be banging when you get corn tortilla and two of them per taco! Service was great, food was amazing! Will definitely be back.

Nice food at a very reasonable price in a charming old Railroad station in Catawissa - just across the river from Bloomsburg. Plenty of parking too. Recommend!

I just stopped by today because my neighbor recently ate here. The food is incredible! My waiter was very accommodating because I couldn't really eat things that are very spicy. He went back in the kitchen and had the chef modify my order, so nothing hot and spicy was on my food. He recommended other things that I would like when I come back. I really did appreciate him going above and beyond for me. I will definitely be going back and try those other foods He recommended to me. Finally got a chance to stop in, and we’re so glad we did! The Fajitas were excellent and plenty of food. The hibiscus tea was a real treat as well. Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly. Welcome to the neighborhood, Caballo Dorado!

Food was amazing, service awesome. Try their homemade house drinks! They told us they would be rotating flavors. I tried the hibiscus tea and my husband loved the tamarind flavor. I had the Guatemalan churrasco and my husband had the fajita texana skillet. All the food was super yummy -lettuce, tomatoes and guacamole were incredibly fresh and delicious. What a beautiful and kind family running this new business in a historical building.
