Dairy Queen

Just wanted a strawberry milkshake.
2 problems here:
When did everyone start putting domed tops on takeout milkshakes.
And when you ask them to NOT put whipping cream on top, you'd think you grew a third eye.
Don't get me wrong, DQ is not the only one doing this, I just generally find it annoying.
Along with the open hard to deal with domed top, there was another problem.
The strawberries in the shake were barley cut up.
This is not a complaint about using whole fresh strawberries chopped into it, but in not chopping it up enough.
Maybe my mistake was that I planned to try to drink it while driving...
Big chunks of strawberry do not fit through a straw.
Despite the flavor being very good and as expected.
I was not safely able to drink it while driving and would have been equally annoyed if I had eaten in the restaurant.

Good food, pleasant service. I had chicken sandwich, fries & chocolate shake, husband had hamburger, fries and shake through the drive- thru. YUM.

Place was dirty, bathroom utterly filthy. People behind the counter were quite friendly and helpful. Ice cream was good.

I usually love coming here, the staff is courteous and efficient. however, today I stopped to pick up a birthday cake for my son. I did not order ahead, I just grabbed one from a case and asked that they please just write his name under happy birthday. I'm not sure what the dude wrote, but it's certainly not my son's name. I'm somewhat frustrated but I'm sure it will still taste delicious.
This visit aside, dairy Queen still has the best french fries in town and I am happy to frequent a local and Christian business.
