Really good Japanese cuisine! I got the chicken Teriyaki (as pictured) and my friends enjoyed the sushi they ordered. The ordering process was very easy using their website. You choose your food, place the order, confirm your phone number and you'll even get a text when it is ready! The restaurant is safe from a quarantine perspective. Ready items are placed on tables in bags with receipts attached. You simply remove and sign the receipt for them, grab your food, and go. Their system makes ordering and picking up very smooth and efficient.
To the folks down below who gave this place one star, sheeeeeesh. Give them a break. They’re scaling up, it’s a mom-n-pop shop small business, and they just opened. So whiny for such small issues. Give them a shot again and stop being so dramatic.
Our order was great. Very fresh. Ready on time. Very friendly folks inside. Good customer service - even though it was pretty apparent they had lots of orders. One of the best cuts of salmon we’ve had in a long time. We’ll be back.
Had a great working lunch take out from Takashi past Monday. The food was made very quickly and fresh. Service is top notch. Most importantly, food is outstanding. They have some special sushi rolls that is made of black rice. It has very unique and light sweet flavor and texture. Please try it out on their forbidden rice roll menu.
Definitely, I will come back for lunch again.
Sushi was delicious! We typically go to Sakura but wanted to give this place a try. I'd say it was comparable. The only reason I leave 4 stars is because the Penn Live article said the sushi features black rice, which I love. However, didn't actually see that as an option on the menu, nor do any of the gallery photos show it. The place is really cute, would love to dine inside once it opens!
After first bite, I had to write a review! Quality and quantity of fresh fish is comparable to Sapporo or miso. I appreciate the diversity of the menu with more modern ingredients! Prices are average for sushi rolls. Pictured are the Okinawa and sunflower roll! Wonderfully delicious new central PA sushi joint!!!!
