My wife and I stopped here for some dessert after a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed at all! I got the pecan, she got the coconut cream. Two very different yet delicious pies, and both were borderline perfect. We were so impressed that we took a slice of cherry pie home with us for later! We will for sure be returning the next time we are in Carlisle.
I was excited to try this place but came out disappointed. The location is great and the staff friendly. Service was fast. However the savory pies are extremely dense and greasy. The chicken broccoli pie was bland, like no salt or seasoning. Same with the shepherd's pie. Their strength is the sweet pies (I tried samples of the cherry and apple pies and they were good). All in all, wouldn't recommend for main course lunch or dinner, only for dessert.
An absolute Gem! Great pies both savory and sweet! I was visiting for a conference and stopped in after dinner one night, then two nights, and could keep going back!
The blueberry pie with a side of bourbon pecan ice cream was insanely good!
Everyone was super friendly, the food is great, and I highly recommend giving it a try.
The desserts are amazingly delicious and reasonably priced. As for the savory pies, my "go to" is the chicken broccoli cheese pie. The pie meal deal includes a nice sized fresh salad. They also offer pies to go. Best to order ahead.
Really unique selections and a great concept. Ordered two different sweet pie slices for my fiancee and I to share. Both had amazingly delicious filling and were large slices. The only downside was the crust felt a little undercooked and was tough to cut through with the fork. Still, I wouldn't definitely go again and I'm curious to try some of the savory pies that smelled delicious while we were there.
