Tasty beer. Every kind you can think of. They keep my belly feeling full and I'm happy every time I go.
The Italian food that Al has been serving for years is put beside a must-have-- a quality selection of beers (etc.! ). It's a restaurant, but with a feel more of a microbrewery/industrial vibe, which I enjoy.
Pizzaboy can get packed so just know this for peak times if you are in a hurry and can't wait (worth the wait). Otherwise, I'll have a drink and wait for a table to free up during busy times.
We have friends who live in the area so had a second opinion to try out this great pizza as we were visiting. Ordered four different pies, and all were extremely good. The Hot Hot pizza is hands down my new favorite pie.
Prices for food have gone up quite a bit since we were there last. Great selection of craft beers. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Nice environment for the family, several guests bring their children.
Positives: beer selection, cleanliness
Negatives: Food is just OK and bit over priced for what you get. I normally don't mind paying premium prices for fresh good food. This seems more like premium prices run of the mill pizza shop food.
Also, at times, trying to get the attention of a bartender can be a bit tough even if it isn't busy. And when you do, they aren't very personable....as if they really aren't that happy with their jobs or something. Maybe I'm just used to more customer oriented businesses, but this seems to be focused more on high quantity vs. high quality.
The only thing that would generally would draw me back would be the large selection of beers.
