Fantastic little place. Charming and casual with amazing food. Nice little shop to buy all the special things you can't get at a regular grocery. Staff is awesome...friendly and accommodating.
I was extraordinarily impressed by this place. I had the schnitzel and strudel which were both outstanding. The whipped cream was as fresh as it gets for the strudel and it all had the very traditional German tastes throughout everything I had. The potato salad was also exceptional and I will definitely be back. The atmosphere was calm and quaint, just as I wanted for a Sunday morning meal. It's a beautiful place and I absolutely recommend taking some time to check this place out.
A true family style, authentic German delicatessen and restaurant! The Weisswurst I had was very good. The kartofellsalat was excellent. And all for a very reasonable price. These are the kind of people I root for. I will definitely be back.
Adorable, family-owned spot for simple and delicious German good. The spaetzle was tasty, and the schnitzel was crispy and nicely fried, but the real stars were the sausages and sides. Wonderful German potato salad, amazing sauerkraut--the right amount of fermentation, a delightfully long and fine shred mushiness. I gained a whole new appreciation for bratwurst!
Spectacular German cuisine. Simply great food! Great staff, good conversation! They know what they are doing, and do it well. No burgers or chicken patties here, all authentic home cooking, sandwiches made with German specialty meat packers from New York to Milwaukee, and beyond I am sure. Stop in and give yourself a real treat with some good, home cooking!
