Manoa Diner & Deli

Took my mom there for breakfast. Very nice.

All I bought was coffee at the back counter. The service was good.

The Manoa Diner serves a yummy homestyle breakfast in a clean, relaxing setting and with great service. Located in the Manoa Shopping Center, the Manoa Diner is easily accessed from Manoa Rd or West Chester Pike, and has more than adequate parking.

Saturday morning at 8AM; my companion and I braved the chilly morning to find ourselves at a cozy booth at the Manoa Diner. Our reviews of local coffee and breakfast joints has now grown to include full-fledged diners and the Manoa Diner is a happy result. The Diner is very clean and has the comfortable look and feel of a family run business. It almost feels like we’re eating at a friend’s kitchen.

My companion had the vegetable and cheese omelet with sweet, ruby-red grapefruit juice. I had two eggs with Corned Beef Hash and coffee. The food came out fast and hot and I never had the chance to drink my coffee more than one inch down before it was refilled.

The Manoa Diner also has a classic old style lunch counter complete with fixed stools. The opposite side of the diner hosts a miniature convenience store with a dozen or so coolers filled with soft drinks and beer.

Here’s the bottom line. Breakfast for two with all the trimmings cost under $20. The Manoa Diner is clean and serves great food at a great price. If you come out to support this local business then you won’t be disappointed and hopefully I’ll see you there.
