Hallow Bamboo Jamaican Cuisine

Food hits! I'm a foodie and this bangs got a lot to sample and I'm pleased. There's a bunch of trash food out here and as long as they are consistent with their chef and quality yall gonna do big things! May takelong but food is fresh and 🔥

Food: Delicious, I had the Ox Tail. Seasonings were on there without it being overly salty. Meat was tender and fall off the bone. One of the reasons why I gave 1 less star overall was because I felt like the portions based upon the cost of the platter didn't line up ($27.95 for 3 Oxtails, White Rice, and Steamed Broccoli). Also, there wasn't an option to purchase more Oxtails on the side.

Service: Just 1 person, though it wasn't that busy, it still took some time from when I ordered to getting the food. Overall no issues which didn't impact my overall rating.

Atmosphere: I gave this 3 out of 5 because there was no one there, I went on a lunch break so I figured I could have sat down, but it was freezing in there. Also no restrooms to note.

Overall: It was delicious, atmosphere could use a little "heat" (literally) and if price stays the same at least give options to purchase more on the side because I probably would have spent the extra just to get a few more tails.

Me and my girlfriend got takeout, I tried the goat, she tried the salmon, and she had the most incredible salmon! The goat was equally amazing! The Mac & cheese was sooooo good, I wish I got the gravy on the side, it made the french fries soggy, but this is absolutely worth the price. Absolutely spectacular.

I'm not from the area and was looking for some authentic food. Well I found the place. I ordered 1 Bamboo Full Goat ... let me tell you it was awesome it was so great as the saying goes where I'm from food so good makenyou want to smack you fill in the rest 😆. The temperature of the food was on point. Portion size great I'm 350lb 6'4 a big boy. I had rice & peas, 3 plantains, Mac & cheese, and candied yams with a bottle of water. Spices was perfect. I would definitely go there again. Maybe when I'm off that way I can dine in. For anyone in this area looking for great service, great food, and a friendly facility look no further.

Me and my husband stumbled on this new Jamaican spot. We were goggling and looking for a Jamaican restaurant and hallow bamboo Jamaican restaurant popped up. So we said let’s try it and we went it was there first day opening. We ordered the jerk chicken Alfredo,jerk chicken,green,yams,macaroni and cheese. Everything was delicious. The jerk chicken Alfredo is So,So,So delicious!!! The jerk chicken was great too!!! Both dishes was spicy just right!!! the greens are seasoned just right!!! They were not soggy and they were not over seasoned meaning not too salty. The yam are sweetened just right not give you diabetes(lol). The rum cake is delicious too. This weekend I tried the shrimp fried rice. It put Chinese shrimp fried to shame. It is very simple but very flavorful. (Should add more veggies).The cabbage was delicious!!! They were not over cooked meaning too not soggy and they were not over seasoned and salty). Please don’t change up on your recipe and stay consistent with your seasoning and style. Attached pictures.
