I wanted some mozzarella sticks and onion rings but they were out so the owner recommended the vegan nachos because I do not eat meat. She and the cashier were very pleasant and I’m glad I went with her recommendation because they were delicious , cooked to perfection !”

“First visit, we went there on a whim in that we live in Delaware. Customer Service was great. Food was great, Mac n Cheese delicious, almost like Mom's, Greens were great, I like that they were not heavenly seasoned, but a great taste, yams were good, green beans were good (a bit salty for me) I don't eat much salt, so I won't penalize them. My husband got the cabbage too, he loved it. Best little soul food place I have experienced in a long time. I wish them the best!”

“Wow! So first off, it really IS a bit of a hideaway, but it is well worth finding. Sometimes a neighborhood bar, well let's say, leaves a bit to be desired when it comes to making cocktails, the appletini my wife ordered was perfect. The magic really begins in the kitchen. I was there for a fish fry, and the fish was some of the best I've had, perfectly seasoned, crispy and piping hot. As the evening wound down, we decided to have take out based on how delicious the fish was, we ordered shrimp and wings to go. Again perfection from the kitchen! Yeah ... this is THAT place, I'll be back, and soon!”

“Good quality food and reasonably quick preparation make this a good option for Chinese food. They have dinner meals that are pretty affordable and give you a good amount for what you pay, which is great. However, they lose a star for one simple, but important, reason: the shop is a mess. The location isn't particularly pleasant to be inside of, honestly. If they can fix up the appearance, it would be much more inviting, and thus probably get more business.”

“I should’ve taken a picture of my food so you would’ve been able to see it. I drove 3 miles to get here because I wanted good Jamaican food. When I tell you the food was good. I had curry goat, rice and peas with gravy, and homemade greens. They give you generous portions for a good price. The food was so good I ate it all in one setting.”

“I had the jallof rice with beef and an order of potato greens with white rice....wow. This brought me back to my childhood, I’ve been searching for YEARS for a place that cooked African food as good as my grandma use to make it, and I’ve found it. I would highly recommend the African food. (Didn’t try to Jamaican food yet). I know there are mixed reviews...chefs are not perfect everyday...but take the chance, the food is delicious!”
