(May 6, 2019, 2:05 pm)We stop at the big trout quite frequently on our way to Bernadette. I’ve never had bad service or food. Try the big trout burger if it is still on the menu. A good place for food and drink. They do have a separate small side bar with tables so still OK for families. They also have an outside deck when the weather is nice.
We definitely will be back -

(October 23, 2018, 1:01 pm)Enjoyed lunch and dinner here on a road trip. Drinks were very affordable and service was good. Forgot to take a photo of dinner, I was so hungry I devoured it. This was the mushroom-brie soup. Very good.

(October 22, 2018, 6:29 pm)Very good choices on the dinner buffet. Warm not hot, only issue. The soup was wonderful and the salads were large with lots of items. They made me a fresh baked potato to be included in my dinner buffet. The Big Trout serves a dinner buffet to accommodate large volumes of people in a short time, being located close to the Elk viewing area of Benzadet, PA.
