I love BBQ and for a chain restaurant I think they do a great job.
Most menu entree items are cooked and prepared fairly well; sausage, burgers, etc., the wings however tend to be dry and the brisket slices served seem to come from the ends as they are very fatty.
They do a good job with flavors bit could serve themselves well by letting the meat participate in the flavor pairing. If there's no indy BBQ joint in the area, Smokey's the Plan B.
Food was great though the brisket was dry. Service was wonderful. We were too full for dessert, but they made us some of the INCREDIBLE fried cookies (yes, fried cookies) without the icecream for the road.
I went with my mom, and it was a great experience. Our waiter was super helpful, and even though it was dinner time on a Saturday he was very attentive.
The loaded fries are AMAZING. The glaze they put on them is life changing. Definitely recommend.
I ordered a steak and the cinnamon apples, my mom ordered one of the chicken meals with a loaded baked potato. Both of them were amazing and very well cooked.
Ideally, there would be a few more chairs in the lobby area, but everyone was sat pretty fast. I was on crutches, so someone gave up their seat, but it would be nice if there was a bench or two instead of individual chairs.
Overall amazing experience, and I'm definitely planning on going again!
The food and service was great. My only criticism is I ordered back ribs and was given side ribs. Not a big deal, the order was takeout so no chance for correction. The server said he double checked everything. Otherwise 5 star. Great BBQ food.
