Unique space and atmosphere, makes it worth the visit just for that! The staff were very nice and attentive. We stopped by during a cross country trip, they had a few parking spots for customers in the back. I loved the burger that I ordered, but others didn’t like the veggie burger - I guess it’s nice that they offer the option but I would stick with the meat burger since the place is good with meat based grills
If you live within driving distance and haven't tried the skunk and goat you are missing a treat. Great atmosphere and service, friendly staff and great food. Great for small kids. Sorry we didn't find the s&g until our last night in town...would love to go again. We had the braised boar shank that was outstanding...kids hade home made Mac and cheese and quite happy. Large portions....you won't leave hungry.
Came here when visiting Erie with family, we called ahead for a reservation since we were a bigger group, including three children. The food was great! Staff was super friendly, one of the best service experiences I've had, giving us some recommendations while we were in town and interesting history on the building (there is an actual vault in the seating area!). Plus there's a stuffed skunk they bright out for the kids to see! Will definitely go back if we're up in town again!
We stopped here after getting fireworks down by I - 90. The food was amazing as well as the service. The interior design was something special. There is a old bank vault that has been made into a special dinning area for larger groups. The beer selection was not that good. Tons of wine and cocktails though.
We was out looking at vehicles and a local salesman recommended The Skunk and Goat Tavern. So we went there and were very pleased with the menu items and the friendly and good service. Noticed they had a huge vault door leading into a six person dining area. Turns out it was a bank years ago! Give it a try, think you will be pleased.
