if there was a 2 and a half, that's where I would be here, but I do not want that to be a bad thing - it's a nice place!

THE FOOD - What I am extremely happy with is that there were some non-meat items on the menu. We do not eat chopped up animals so I ordered the Black Bean Veggie burger (burger and fries, $10) and my wife had the Jailhouse Caprese (essentially a mozerella grilled cheese of sorts, with tomato on a ciabata w/ fries - $7) - we split the sandwiches so we each had half of both. While the sandwiches weren't bad, the fries were the best part of the meal and they were "ok" .

THE DRINKS - I had the best draft I have ever had ( Best Blonde Lager - Helles -$5 for 16oz) ... hands down - FANTASTIC ! My wife on the other had a mixed drink, some sort of "punch", it was the least expensive drink on the cocktails and wine menu (though thats not why she chose it, it sounded appealing to her) and it was WEAK. $9 for a mixed drink in Chambersburg is quite high. We brought that up at the end of the meal and the server expressed that it was because of the high quality ingredients used (which I get), but my feeling is that if you pay a premium for an alcoholic beverage, that alcoholic beverage should pack some sort of punch. My wife almost never drinks. She drank 2 of these and normally after 2 drinks she would be something to laugh at for a couple of hours. I tasted the drink... uh- thanks for the high quality sprite I guess??? I didn't taste anything worth $9. so ehhhh, IDK

THE FACILITY, DECOR, SERVICE, ETC. - All that was good! Great atmosphere! They had a good live band going ( NAS Trio - a nice 3 man band with a good sound ) The place looks fantastic. 2 rooms of seating with dining in both and a bar. They also had an outside dining area that was rather small but nice to see. The service was good also so no complaints there.

    * This is a nice place ! All in all I don't want it to sound like a bad review... It is a brewery after all and the beer I had (3 of them actually! ;-) was TOP NOTCH) - The vegan offerings were an exciting thing to see! The service and atmosphere were great, but unfortunately we went there for everything they had to offer. The food, and the other drinks were a let down. If all I had done was had a beer, and watched the band, it would have been a five star review! I think my story of this place is one of a "great place that fell short".

Great chicken sandwich. I asked if the fries were crispy and the waitress said she could ask them to be crispy. They weren't. Oh well. Nice place.

I always enjoy this place. Great beer and amazing burgers. Only downside is their limited seating.
