“Comfort food describes it best. All 3 of us had the special, which was the open-faced hot roast beef sandwich - a very meaty entree. This came with a generous portion of real mashed potatoes and green beans. It all tasted great (although the green beans could have used more butter and seasoning). Our waitress was very cheerful. She was there when we needed something, but she didn't hover - I really appreciate that. There was plenty leftover after we ate our fill, so we boxed it up to take home, because we wanted ice cream for dessert. They serve Hershey's Ice cream. Our waitress suggested strawberry cheesecake flavor. It was excellent. The restaurant also offers homemade pies. Maybe next time...”

“Had the best lunch and pastries! The salad was a Mediterranean chick pea salad, with feta and a delicious vinaigrette. The soup was stocked with watermelon, fresh cukes, and lime. Sweet and savory! Their pastries are scrumptious and their buttercream irresistible! I couldn’t resist their Dulce de Leche cupcake. Hard to beat quality food like this!”
