So easy to get to! Absolutely beautiful walk up from street . I adore the whole historical buildings and use of modern technology to enhance the older buildings. Great cross walk right in front for safe access for family. Immediately upon entrance you can grab some coffee or snack on any side of you before you head in and upstairs. The Aquarium is an absolute must. Buy the membership, you'll get more than your value back and they validate parking in the garage! Lots of stores, a huge tree at Christmas, and great choices. A few tourists Options for pics but great for locals to stop in when and out about down town.
It's a great place to go and grab something quick to eat they have a deli they have Dunkin Donuts inside it they sell beer and some wine now there a like a quick Market if you run out of sugar or salt bread they have it they have water tees cooler ice cream it's a quick little store if you run out of things and are downtown Scranton and you want something quick for lunch
This Market has not been totally developed at this point but what's there is pretty reasonable.
Scrantons Mall is a really really beautiful, inviting, fun, huge and warm atmosphere to shop or eat alone or with friends and family.
Every store or kiosk I visited was well stocked and the staff was knowledgeable about what they sold. Paradise Sweets had the best ice cream and desserts. Owner Asia Wallace's professional touch to normal baked goods will have you going back for seconds. And I had the best cheesesteak and onion rings from store owner The one and only Mr. Angelo Pannos. I know he owns stores in the Philadelphia area. So I was pleased to see him having a store in The Scranton area because his food is great quality and extremely mouth watering.
I'm looking forward to visiting the railroad station and the Aquarium when I go back.
And oh. By the way.
Please visit The Soup Chic. The Lobster Bisque and Brazilian Black Bean soup was amazing!!!!!
The best soup I've ever had in my life.
It makes my heart so happy to see a growing community of local vendors in the heart of Scranton. This diverse market, in a beautiful atrium setting, breathes new life into what was considered a "dead mall". Great changes happening throughout the complex as well, especially the aquarium coming. Nice to see so much positive change!
