“The staff is so nice and made my pumpkin cream cold brew better than any other Starbucks thus far. I had an accidental lock/hold placed on my card and thank God I had cash on me.. but I could only pay for my pumpkin cold brew and not the other coffee so I told them to forget the other coffee. I was so embarrassed.. When I picked up my cold brew Johnny gave me the other coffee on him and it honestly made my day/morning! It gives me hope that there are genuine and kind people in the world! I actually felt like I was getting a quality product for my money, and it was so darn filling. We tried the Lackawanna Wrap, North Washington Salad, and one of the soups of the day. “My daughter and I were looking for a good place to eat in celebration of her receiving her Masters degree, and satisfy our hunger. She noticed Paradise Soul Food a couple weeks ago and since we were in the area were determined to support. In short great decision, we were met with awesome hospitality at the door, and while ordering a willingness to make suggestions. To say the food hit the spot is an understatement, it was excellent. We ordered Mango Salmon, with Shrimp and Honey Garlic Ginger Salmon with Shrimp both had collards, and I had Gouda grits, and my daughter had yams, to drink selected Sweet tea and punch. In conclusion we are Going back tomorrow for more food and Peach Cobbler.”

“went Thursday night (9.10.20) waitress was nice - ordered a burger well done and it was achar Swiss burger....Word of advice don't order well done because it will be burnt...Went back Friday night (9.11.20) love the games plus we were on vacation, anyway the waiter wasn't that nice and he doesn't work well in a busy atmosphere. We ordered wings mild and fried shrimp. The wings were HUGE not their fault, however they were extremely hot and not mild. I asked for blue cheese and got nothing. The fried shrimp were good and was the only thing we ate. We ordered the food to go so didn't notice anything until we got back to the hotel. So I would definitely go back for the games - food is out of the question.”

“"Nightclub" might be a bit of an exaggeration. Evening club would be more appropriate. Came in on a Saturday night after finishing up a Christmas Party at Ale Mary's around 11:30pm. Live music had just finished their final set and were packing up. Plentiful seating and the group of 10 was easily seated. Waitress was very polite and prompt. Put in 10 drink orders. Came over ten minutes later to ask if we wanted any food orders, as the kitchen was closing. Order the duck fat fries, which were good. Drinks were good also. Midnight the lights inside flashed, waitress came over and said it was last call and asked for a final drink order, which we all declined as we had just received our first drink order ten minutes prior. Looking at the bar seating several patrons on top of our ten appeared to still be enjoying their drinks so I figured we still had some time after last call. Turns out they must have been employees enjoying an after work drink because 5 minutes after last call the lights came full on and our check was delivered without prompting. After closing our tab we were given a pitch about their New Years Eve Party which still had "very limited tickets remaining." We declined to purchase, fearing being kicked out 15 minutes after the ball drop. Come (early) once so you can say you've been to a speakeasy, enjoy the "secret entrance", enjoy a jazz set and a drink, and then leave.”

This is the only sushi establishment that I will ever dine at again. I cannot stress enough how fantastic the chef and staff are. They are clearly well-trained and very friendly. A much needed breath of fresh air in today’s rush-and-go food industry. This establishment will leave your mouth watering and will most definitely lead you to order more rolls. The quality is more than superb, much better than any other place open for business. Their sushi is amazing, my personal favorite is the Dragon Roll which is one of their specialty rolls (it has avocado and eel). I also love their sweet potato roll and salmon and avocado rolls. Every kind of sushi I've had here was delicious and they have TONS of variety. The bento box lunch specials are also a great deal, as are the regular dinner specials. Have also had the hibachi from here and the steak is always juicy and delicious. I have ordered from here many times and will continue to do so. Probably my favorite restaurant.”
