The Barrel

Love this place! Everything I've gotten here has been delicious! I've had roast beef and mashed potatoes (plenty of gravy, roast beef was quite tender), pastrami sandwiches, eggs and bacon, etc. Today I had their prime rib surf n' turf special. Great flavor for the prime rib and the Cajun shrimp was super tasty!
Really great atmosphere in this place. The back enclosed porch area is a nice, quiet, and out-of-the-way spot to eat. Nice family style place.

This is the first time I ever ate here...the burger I order was juicy and the chili that was on the fries was homemade and the best chili i have ever eaten (besides mine)

Can't even explain how thrilled I was to learn The Barrels reopened! Nice little place up 307 where you can get the American regulars or some tasty homestyle dinners which are truly hard to come by with chain restaurants swallowing the area!

I have eaten there many times. Cozy Place good food and service. Was glad to see it reopen.

Lost some of its goodness since new owners. Although you can't tell from a single visit, Texas wieners were not to good. Staff was polite and friendly. Sadly last visit.
