“You Need To Know? Arrived around 5:45 and the bar area was completely packed, our party of 3 had to sit in the dining area. Service was kind & the kitchen was quick. This local tavern had a nice crowd & the crew was doing there thing in a timely manner! Appreciated! We had the loaded chicken nachos & Taco pizza for this "Cinco DE Mayo" celebration. Also had a chicken sandwich, sweet & tangy wings, & chicken cheese wrap . The wing sauce was delicious & the wings were crispy & tasty. The chicken sandwich & wrap were both described as the perfect crispness & delicious. If your looking for a scenic road trip & your looking for some tasty bar food then Pappy's is well worth the stop. Hopefully the next time we can belly up to the bar for a bit. Now You Know! -TBH”

“Love this place! Everything I've gotten here has been delicious! I've had roast beef and mashed potatoes (plenty of gravy, roast beef was quite tender), pastrami sandwiches, eggs and bacon, etc. Today I had their prime rib surf n' turf special. Great flavor for the prime rib and the Cajun shrimp was super tasty! Really great atmosphere in this place. The back enclosed porch area is a nice, quiet, and out-of-the-way spot to eat. Nice family style place.”

“Excellent meals for my whole party. Thought the menu offered a nice diversity--pasta, burgers, salads, and higher echelon sandwiches. Our waitress hustled and we were never without bread or water. The pizza, an Old Forge style, was very good. The atmosphere was cool too. We didn't go into the bar because we had our children, but it looked very nice.”
