I live in Lancaster, Pa and I drive 3 hours (1 way) with 2 very large empty coolers to have them filled up to drive another 3 hours to get home! Absolutely worth the trip!!!! “Always a treat to go to this restaurant. The owners are great people and the staff are always accommodating, attentive and polite. My fiance and I always bring our friends and family from out of town here and it's our go to place for special occasions. The specials are usually the same favorite dishes but there's a new one thrown in every so often. I never go hungry here; big portions and a three course meal like you wouldn't believe. It's just me, but the bread and bean topping is always my highlight. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone for casual meals or to make an impression. Prices are $$ and can add up fast but the amount of food you get is worth it.”

“I'm from out of town and didn't really know what to expect. Everything was surprisingly good - only qualm is that the two hot sauces that I tried or both a little sweet and hot - that's not usually my thing but they were fine. The pub fries were great. Friendly service, but a little empty for lunch time. I got the wings and my friends got boneless wing bites. He said it was a great deal and that they tasted great. I love the wings were good.”

“There are few chefs that can compare to the genius behind the food served at this restaurant. It's called Italian American cuisine, but the food has a very strong French influence. If you are a fan of all different types of sauces this is the place for you. I just had a veal dish.... Sauteed veal with shallots, spinach and a tomato veal cream sauce with jumbo lump crab meat. Outstanding!”

“The Windsor Inn....definitely a nice friendly neighborhood hangout. Staff was very helpful and nice. But I have to admit, considering that chicken wings is supposed to be what they are known for.... To be honest I was not impressed. I absolutely LOVE wings!!! Had them from many different places in PA and other states. And of all those places, I can't really say their wings were that good. And it kills me to say that because it was a nice place with nice people. Honestly I didn't enjoy them at all. I ate them because I'm on a limited income and had been wanting to try them for a long time. Total letdown. But I will say that the place was very busy so that leaves me to believe that a lot of their food has to be good. Maybe the cook was just really busy or just having a bad night. I'm really sorry guys. It felt bad to write this review but I'm an honest person and I have to say what I experienced.”

“We've been ordering care since they opened and I feel like the only reason why we keep ordering as because the food is pretty good and it is just right down the road from our house But definitely is lacking with customer service. The last time we ordered the delivery driver asked for a cigarette. I just don't think that is professional and I was really uncomfortable by it. I don't know if he didn't realize that I had given him a tip I already added it in when I ordered the food but he said something along the lines about you can give me that as a tip or at least by doing that I'll get a tip. Either way I just don't think that will be ordering from there anytime soon.”

If you don't expect much from fast food chicken, Popeyes should exceed your expectations...service is excellent, super friendly, food was actually pretty good - not greasy or oily, but very flavorful, with a little bit of zing. Their hot sauce is awesome, and the gravy on the mashed potatoes is downright tasty. Skip the nuggets at the other places and go directly to Popeyes. Drive thru is very convenient too.
