“Stopped here on our way home from New York. TripAdvisor said they were open until 3 and we walked in at 1:50. The waitress said they actually close at 2, but told us they would still seat us. We ordered soup and split a club sandwich. Soup was Italian wedding soup - very different from the usual but delicious! Club sandwich was made on homemade bread and was great! Server was attentive and friendly. Bought some cookies, a muffin and the last two pieces of a walnut coffee cake. Holy cow - all fantastic!! I would travel back up there just to get that coffee cake again.”

I love the glazed donuts when they're cooled down though. I also was not impressed with the coffee or the custard donut. Dunkin Donuts does a much better job with both of those.”

“This was my 1st visit to Perkins in a while. The waitress was professional, friendly, attentive and sensitive to allergy needs. The manager was checking on things, very pleasant and all the staff was courteous and friendly upon leaving. It was a very pleasant lunch with family and the food was quite good, as well as being adjusted for my dietary needs. They have real fresh mashed potatoes and real butter. Even my finicky son in law enjoyed his meal. He and my grandson had never been here but they will likely return. Everyone was relaxed and enjoyed their meal.”

It is tucked away in the first floor of a University of Scranton Building and no signage outside. Real LOX, Real good! So glad to be able to have it again! The entrance faces the church on the other side-of-the-street if standing on Jefferson Ave. Park on Linden Street!”

The staff is friendly - mostly kids - and the place is pretty clean. Moderate pricing - depending on what you buy. Eating in can be pretty noisy - but if you are willing to ignore the noise, then it's pretty nice. Love their iced coffee - and their breakfast wraps. Oh and if I could make a suggestion - maybe get a better doorway - like a wider one that pertains to the handicapped people in wheelchairs. Maybe put in sliding doors. Other than that - it's a nice place.”

The staff were great, helping explain specials, making suggestions and offering the oh so temping cookie. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. The food was very good as usual, however the multi grain rolls were on the hard side. I'll chalk it up to being left out too long, but this was the only fault during this visit. Good service and good food, with a focus on fresh and healthy. Can't ask for much more.”
